Monday's Quote 1/26/09

A day without sunshine is like, you know, night. -Steve Martin

I had a great time seeing everyone. We need to do it sooo much more often. Tyler and I saw the doctor again on Sunday morning. Ear infection, wheezing etc. He threw up all over the kitchen while I was out. So glad I was out.

Dan, keep us posted.

Remember ladies...bowling in May!! I am going to practice on the Wii.

Have a great week!! I hear there could be more snow...enjoy!

If it snows a lot on Wednesday, Mark said D-Day would be Thursday, so we've got that going for us.
And, I'd love another day off with the kids, sleeping late, & movies.

I have no Wii, but with enough beer I think I can bowl reasonably well. With enough beer, I can do just about anything. But just in case, I'll come over & practice Deb.

I don't have Wii either. Are we talking duck pin bowling as I think that is all I can handle and have done.

Sorry Nance, no duck pins. Regular balls aren't hard to handle at all. (sounds kind of kinky, huh?!)

I have my own ball and bag....and it's pink.

Was this a recent purchase?

Lynn said...

No, my ball and bag are quite old...

My husband has a nice blue one too but it's quite heavy.

Ok, I have never gone real bowling so I have no clue. This should be fun:)

Lynn, I was going to ask if you had pink bowling shoes to match, but forgot. Now that I think about it, did Ed get that for you for Valentine's Day or Christmas? I sort of remember you getting it a while ago.

Nance, the kids use regular balls, so don't worry. They come in all different weights. Just drink plenty of beer! Also, were the popcorn balls stale?

No news yet today. It seems Norwalk is having round 2. Whitney (head of HR in his building) had been in Chicago all week laying off people there and she was going to come back today. I can't wait until this is over.

BIG BALLS all the way. I am looking forward to a night of bowling. I am a little jealous about Lynn's ball but I will get over it, I think.

Sorry about the continuing drama Dan....not knowing is the hardest part. hang in there.
