"Life's most urgent question is: what are you doing for others?"
-Martin Luther King Jr.
Happy Monday, sorry for the late post. A weekend with the family sometimes puts a wrench in the best laid plans. Hope everyone is enjoying all of the snow, snow, snow....
Nance, what's the plan for Saturday? Let's keep our fingers crossed for clear skies or at least plowed roads.

It's Girl Scout Cookie time... in case anyone is interested. I need to put the order in by Friday.
I'm sick of snow. I can't believe another delay this morning. My kids are so used to sleeping late they are never going to get up on time when they have to.
Anyone thinking of refinancing???? I saw a rate of 4.8. I wonder if it's going to go even lower?
Hope all is well... looking forward to laughing on Saturday.
Mark wanted to think about refinancing. I told him I didn't want to payoff my mortgage when I was 73. Even though the MONTHLY payments would be less, we would have ended up paying 40K more at the end than leaving the rate as is (5.5%)- so, lots to think about.
Where is this place on Saturday, Nance? What time should we meet?
I'm sick of snow too. I like cold weather, but, and I never thought I'd say this, I'm looking forward to spring.
Also, I'll take 3 boxes of the purple ones with the coconut and I can't believe the name escapes me... samoas (I had to ask Phil). Thanks!
This is supposed to be the big week for Danbury. Keep your fingers crossed-
So, is everyone game for comedy 9pm and buffet prior to. The buffet is $14 and the comedy is $15 it is $29? I will make reservations if you are cool with that.
Go ahead and reserve Nance. Sounds good. Where is this place again and what time should we meet? I forget the website and there were a couple of places to go. I'm assuming its the Sorrento restaurant in either Danbury or New Fairfield.
Sounds good Nancy. What time?
So I didn't vote for Obama but I have to say I am impressed after watching yesterday's speech. Very inspirational... now let's hope he lives up to it all.
Juli was so into it...partly because of his daughters. She was glued to the TV last night and asked a million questions. Lauren ran around the house writing "I Love Barack" on everything which was not a hit with my parents. What a difference a generation makes.
There are 7:15, 7:30 and 7:45 pm seatings for the buffet. What do you want to do? The show starts @ 9 pm.
Have you ever been there? Do you stay in your buffet seat or do you go somewhere else to see the show. I couldn't tell from the picture. A 7:15 seating would be ok I guess. Do they kick you out after 15 minutes so the 7:30 seats can come in? otherwise, I'd pick 7:15 so you can get good (far away from the comedian) seats.
Just let me know a time. Lynn, I can pick you up. Put us in for 2 boxes of Trefoils.
Looking forward to seeing all of you. Exams this week and night school started so it has been a little busy.
We don't have to get up and leave. I booked us for 7:15pm seating. Their website is newsorrento.com and they have directions there. It is off exit 8 off of I84.
I spy Carolyn Michener on the front page of the Voices.... very nice. I will bring a few copies tommorrow night.
Deb... 6:30?
Thank you! Our copies all had our addresses in front of her face, so I don't have a good copy.
6:30 it is!
