"The trouble with real life is that there is no danger music."
OK, who doesn't need some theme music during parts of their day? Hope everyone is well and not too crazy with all of life's activities.
Blog, ladies. And remember we are currently movie trivia tied.

Cable Guy.
I have to admit I cheated. I have never actually seen Cable Guy. Is it funny?
Are we still going to NYC on 10/23? If so, how much $ do I need or do I need to reimburse someone for a ticket.
10/22 gig @ the Hideaway 7:30pm-10:30pm...we are doing Uninvited Dan...please come if you can.
Nancy... no tickets bought yet. Do we have a plan? Are we standing in line at TKTS or just wandering around the city? Lunch at Tre Colore???
Train or Drive??
So many questions.
We will try to come on the 22nd.
Definitely Tre colore. Will post the link soon with the menu. It was very reasonable last time we were there. I say we see what's playing at TKTS and then decide on the way down. I don't care as long as we go down and walk around and see what's going on. It's been too long!! Maybe even see the new 911memorial sight unless its too sad?
Mark is doing good after hernia surgery. Still can't pick anything up or really do anything, but that's ok.
We did sit down with Carolyn and tried to reason out how much BU was really in the scheme of things and what her contribution would be when all was said and done. $180K really doesn't mean anything to a 17 year old kid (not that I expected it to). It's more than out mortgage (or out refinance I should say.
A friend from work, Joe Samoska died yesterday, a year after learning he had a form of liver cancer. Very sad. He was 5 days older than me. It really hits home when that happens. We need to go and have fun on his behalf (he told me to party it up when he was gone) and drink one for him which is what we'll do.
That's all, but that's enough -
Sorry about your friend Dan.
These are the two train options from Bridgeport to get us there in time to stand in line at TKTS for 11:00. The fare will be about $24.00 roundtrip.
leave 8:14 AM arrive 9:43 AM
leave 8:50 AM arrive 10:12 AM
Dan and Nance... will you take the danbury line and meet us there or come to Bpt?
Can't wait... hope it's a nice day.
Dan, sorry about your friend. Life is too short. :(
Dan...
FYI... I just saw a job posing for coders at Milford Hospital on Monster. (Not New Milford) In case you don't have enough work to keep you busy lol.
leave 8:13 AM arrive 9:40 AM 87 THROUGH TRAIN OFF PEAK
leave 9:13 AM arrive 10:40 AM 87 THROUGH TRAIN OFF PEAK
These are the two trains from Southeast (Brewster) to Grand Central on the 23rd. Either one should work. Nance, I'll meet you there is you'd like. I think it's quicker than going to Bridgeport for us. It's also $24 round trip (12.25 each way) and we buy tickets outside the station.
So far the weather seems ok. I can't wait to see everyone. Thanks for everything!!
Dan Southeast is much closer for me. Are we targeting the 8:13am or the 9:13am one?
Dan: Are we targeting the 8:13 or 9:13 am one out of Brewster (Southeast)?
Sorry I have been missing. Got the TKTS app for the phone. We have good choices. Weather is supposed to be good. Lynn do we want the earlier to get best pick??? Can't wait to see you all! I am going to try to come on Saturday.
I think Nancy and I have to take the 813 train to get there in time. The other one drops us off too close to the 11am hour. Not sure when people begin to stand in line? When were you (Deb and Lynn) planning to get there?
someone give me again when and where on saturday?
Let's all do the early train and meet in Grand Central around 9:45. That will give us plenty of time to get over and stand in line.
I am sooo looking foward to it!
We will be there on Sat. night Nance.
Ok so Saturday 7:30pm-10:30pm Halfway Home @ the Hideaway (formerly the Blue Z) in Newtown and Sunday catch an 8:13am train in Brewster Southeast, right? Should I bring an empty backpack in case one of us buys something? What time are we shooting to get home? Just trying to plan and see if I am telling Norb that he is on his own for dinner or not.
To be safe, he's on his own for dinner. If show starts at 2pm it won't be over until 5p. Not sure if we can make Saturday but someone tell me exactly where the Hideaway is? Did we want to do Tre colore for lunch or dinner? or just wing it? I never got the menu but go to www.trattoriatrecolori.com to see what they have and prices. Last time I went it was reasonable and yummy. If you want something else, that's fine too.
The Hideaway is 127 S. Main St Newtown, CT 06470. It is about 2 miles toward Monroe on the same road as Edmond Town Hall.
I think we should do dinner after the show or we will be really rushed. Should we make reservation for 5:30 or so?
We could grab a snack before the show.
I'll bring the twizzelers for the show because no Broadway show is complete with out them!
How much are the show tickets?
