I have found that the Oprah network OWN has some interesting shows. Sundays at 8p.m. Oprah's All Stars is good ...Dr. Oz, Dr. Phil and Suze give advice and it is funny. Anyway, I watched football this weekend and have discovered that I am a fan of the four day work week.
So much going on with Ty, I will tell all when we see each other. We have an advocate and are working to make sure things are put in place properly.
Everything else is good, Al is behaving so that has been an extra bonus. More snow this week....enjoy!
Keep blogging ...

OK, Dr. Oz just examined a man with a third nipple...
Haven't found the OWN network yet. Do you know what channel on Charter? Spent a relaxing weekend at home after my 3 hour drive home on Friday. Spent Friday night sitting on our deck, drinking Bloody Marys while my husband blasted Gov't Mule on the outside speakers and the kids sledded down the snow pile we have next to the deck. It was so bizarre...but fun.
And my neighbor continues to pile the snow on our wall even after the police visited him last week. I just don't know what to do next.
I don't want to say this too loud but I think we are all finally getting healthy.
Watched Inception and really didn't understand much of it. I think I need to watch again. Anyone else see it yet? If so, please explain who the guy in the chinese room was.
The third nipple thing is a little disturbing.
I went into work really early on Friday, pick up everything I needed and went back home. Around noon, I emailed my boss saying I should have stayed at work as it was sunny at our house. Not 2 hrs later it was snowing like a bat out of hell and I was SO glad to be home. People were abandoning their cars in Danbury on 84. Bizarre.
Can't wait to go out with my peeps. I don't even care what we do as long as we do it together!!!
I was in work and decided to leave @ 4pm and I guess most everyone had gone home already because of the snow as there wasn't much traffic but the roads still sucked.
Sorry ladies I was home just waiting for the snow. One small benefit of the job I do. Please be safe on Wednesday.
Brought work home with me so I'm commuting to my dining room table in my PJ's with coffee whenever I wake up.
I brought home work with me too but I need to call in the morning to find out if I am going in.
Congratulations to Woodbury for 28 inches of snow. The Weather Channel can't stop talking about you!
Can you see the light of day Dan?
No school in Monroe tomorrow! Wish Purdue could be closed again but that is just a dream.
Kids went sledding at the golf course. So glad I didn't go watch because Lauren said "Mom, I had so many epic wipe outs... you would have cried." She knows me well.
Making Bolognese sauce for dinner... watched Anne Burrell cook it on the Food Network. Smells yummy but has to simmer for 4 hours.
You know, it seemed like we had an awful lot of snow but I never measured. I just know that for 2 days my street was only 1 way. If someone was coming the other way, one of you had to pull into a driveway. No school today and tomorrow (Fri) they have a delay opening. This is killing me.
I think Caro and I are going to see The King's Speech - about King George/Edward - can never remember which one it was - and his stuttering problem, on Saturday. Caro can't wait to see it. I said it had our favorite 3 characters - Mr. Darcy, Captain Barbosa and Bellatrix Lestrange in it. It hadn't been playing anywhere near here (the city was the closest and I was tempted to take her in but then snow happened over the past few weeks). Hopefully it will be inb Waterbury. So, that's all that's going on.
Trying to get the church records/checkbook all settled for the end of the year. I wish I never said yes to this job. It sucks. I need a suck-o-meter attached to me, just like the commercial. Hopefully you are all doing much better...I need wine.
Back from sunny Arizona. :( Didn't have a lot of time to be in the sun but it was nice to see no snow on the ground. Happy snow day everyone. I am at work but my kids will be home once again tormenting my parents.
Every room in my house is leaking. We have already put in an insurance claim. Poor Ed spent the three days I was away emptying buckets. Emily's room filled up a rubermaid tub over night.
Deb... I ready "Water for Elephants". It was soooo good! Have you read anything else by her?
Can't wait to go out next week and have a drink with my peeps. What's the plan?
