"The perfect date for me would be staying at home, making a big picnic in bed, eating Wotsits and cookies while watching cable TV." Kim Kardashian
I picked this simply because I was intrigued that she was even listed on the quote site. I also respected the fact that it included food (a Wotsit is a cheese doodle to us common folk). Who would want to eat in bed and then lay in dirty crumby sheets? I still don't really know if she is quote worthy.
Sorry to hear about drainage Dan. Hang in there! So much to do this month and Gerri and Bob move in on the 29th.
Hi Nance!

Deb...Didn't you and I eat cheese doodles on the bed when we went to Vermont for that murder mystery play?
They were cheese balls and we did not have to change the sheets.
Back home from the hospital and hooked up to a drainage vaccuum. I have to go back in tomorrow and have the doc change the sponge again. May have to go back to the O.R. to do this, but might be able to be done in the office. We'll see. I'm ok. Doesn't really hurt, just need to have a large part of my abdomen drained of the infection. I go back on Cipro, Zinc, Vit C and percocet. Trying to get percocet changed to vicodan. Will let you know how everything is going. My mother is being very trying (and she calls it helpful)
Dan...sorry about your Mom...hang in there. I just noticed that my eye is red again. I hope I don't have another eye infection. I am going to wait until tomorrow and see if it gets better.
OK people. What is happening to us? We are not sounding very hot. I hope everyone feels better very soon. Spent part of my day off in the mall trying to get 4 kids to smile at the same time for a grandma picture. The rest of the day was spent honoring my 11 year old who now wants a cell phone.
Family over this Saturday and more cleaning before Gerri moves in. Who would ever think that a washing machine needs cleaning????
My husband said I was looking pretty hot when I had maxi pads strapped to my stomach.
I'm here and I'm hot. (Although I think it may be a hot flash)
Mmmm... cheese balls. Considering all I eaten today is a protein shake and a bananna, cheese balls in or out of bed sound wonderful.
FYI... my husband has officially lost 30 lbs as of this morning. I have lost a measly 6. Although he has been eating many more protein shakes than I and a lot less Hershey bars.
Happy weenend everyone!
The Blue Z Coffeehouse is out of business so thanks Lynn and Deb for coming in the past. What was the name of that other place? Was it Huntington Cafe or something like that? There was also one you mentioned on Rt 25.
Last Drop Coffee Shop on 25 and Huntington St Cafe in Shelton. Sorry to hear about the Blue Z, Tyler really liked it.
Dan, only you could rock a maxi pad!
6 pounds is awesome Lynn!!
6lbs is awesome Lynn! What kind of diet are you and Ed on? Norb wants to know.
The redness in my eye went away on its own...weird.
Thanks for the info on the coffee shops Deb...
Dan...how is it going?
I go back to SDC on Wednesday to have my "swimming pool" abdomen closed up. The vaccuum has done its job. YEAH!!! So far so good. Hopefully within a few weeks I'll be back to normal - figuratively speaking...
Yeah Dan! I can't wait for it to be over for you.
Nancy... it's the eat healthy food during the week and cheat on the weekend diet. Ed has been very good about eating fruit, salad and lots of chicken. He does protein shakes for breakfast and a sandwich on whole wheat for lunch. No beer or drinks other than a glass or two of wine on the weekends. I think that has made a big difference for him. I'm really just cutting back.
Lack of food will do it. Plus these shape up sneakers!!! The a#@ is getting firmer.
Dan... how are you doing? Is all the equipment gone?
Deb... how's it going with Gerry and Bob?
Nancy... What's UP? We found a guy who came and wrapped for boat for $10 per foot in our driveway. He did a great job too.
Lynn: $10/foot sounds good to me but you know my husband he and his son are doing it themselves. They are planning to do it Sunday morning as a matter of fact.
Music is keeping me real busy. I have gigs three weekends in a row. Norb told me not to schedule any more gigs for a while so we can have a break.
Happy Thanksgiving! Norb is helping me cook, clean as always!
