Today's Dilema... Ed is going to Englishtown NJ tomorrow to watch some big race - he is not racing. Lauren is dying to go with him... he has taken her before and she loves it. Sort of the son he will never have. Anyway, tomorrow is a school day and a field trip to Wolfe Park for a picnic. She doesn't care if she misses it and probably not a lot of school work will be done tomorrow. I'm fine with letting her go but do I call out of school as sick or do I say she is doing something special with her dad and doesn't mind missing the picnic. I don't want her to have to lie when her teacher asks how she is feeling since she is missing a picnic most kids will be excited about. Will calling in and saying she is going to be out to go racing with her dad make us sound like bad parents?????
I would just say that she had special plans with her dad. If the teacher asks her what she did she can tell her. Mark says to call the school and say that she has "nitromethanitis"- only a guy!
I hope she had a super day with Dad. Vague works and Wolfe Park will always be there. I was under the weather...getting sick is harder as I age. I have been sleeping alot and was told I looked like s**t. Hope you all have a good weekend and that your husbands are not as annoying as mine! By the way Lynn mine will be calling yours for some mechanical help...
Feel better soon Deb! At least vacation is around the corner.
David Letterman is filming at Derby High. Are you going to be a star? Give us details...
Just got back from Emmy's dress rehearsal for her hip hop recital tomorrow... aka little white girls trying to dance like little black girls. She is wearing a red polyester jump suit and dancing to Sean Kingston's Fire Burning on the Dance Floor. Very entertaining to say the least.

I had great fun too! Are we sure we only one date for the lake?
I would love to do more than one date... but it's so hard because everyone is always so busy on the weekends.
Deb... how did you know that was even her? I would have never guessed.
Thanks for a good time. Caro said there was bumping and grinding at her prom too, and she swears it wasn't her :)
Nance, would love to but coordinating everyone for a second weekend could prove to be impossible.
Lynn, she has spoken to Alan (she works in Norwalk) and damn we look good!
Dan, was she as scarred as I was?
Where was the Moose???
On the internet. I felt like a moose butt one day.
I feel like chocolate moose.
For you Dan....More Moose...

You may have to cut and paste...I'm not sure if the link will become active.
Very cute! I wonder how they taped it. As we all know, moose are very shy, especially when trying to give them triscuits!

Help me my level-headed friends!
