Happy Easter to all!
Movie Reviews
An Education 1 1/2 thumbs...thought provoking and somewhat disturbing. A 16 year old girl seduced and educated by an older man, with her parents' permission.
The Men Who Stare At Goats 1 thumb...just bizarre, George Clooney kills a goat with his mind. I think George likes to drink...alot. Made me say why?
Have a super week!
Congrats on the cortisone Lynn!!

My 96 year old friend Marie passed away yesterday. She stood up for Norb and me at our wedding when my mother would not. I am concentrating on the good memories and the impact she has had on me and my life.
Nancy,
So sorry... I know she was very close to you and an important part of your life. Keep thinking about the happy memories.
Lynn
Nancy,
I am so sorry to hear about Marie. I know what an important person she was to you. You are right to remember all the joy she brought to you.
Love, D
Nancy...
How are you doing? Thinking of you!
Movie Review... The Lovely Bones.
I give it two stars. Much scary and creepier than the book. Marky Mark as the grieving father.. not so good. Probably not the best movie to watch with your 13 year old. Although I had nightmares and she didn't.
One week until vacation...YEAH!
I was doing ok until yesterday when I went to her house to pick up her mail like I was doing once a week for her. I got into the house and I started crying. Anyway, there is a memorial service this Saturday and her daughter asked me to say a few words. I have never spoken @ a funeral so I am trying to write down what I want to say. I will take any advice.
Tell a funny story about her. Talk about how you used to get your nails done together. Talk about how she impacted your life. Just talk about her and how much you loved her. Tell everyone how she was you maid of honor at 90! That's a great story
Thanks for all of the great advice and comforting words. I have sent you all an email with what I wrote that I will say on Saturday.
Deb,
Lauren wanted to know why all the people on the front page of the courier had their mouths open, including your beloved. What I wanted to say was, "because they were yelling at the FU**ING idiot running our town", but I restrained myself.
And when did P'OH become Ghandi.... give me a break.
I love Thursdays - such interesting reading.
Leaving for vacation very late tomorrow night. I will blog when I get back.
Nancy, I will be thinking of you tomorrow. You will give a beautiful tribute to Marie.
Adios!
