As I walked the town green today, palm in hand, I thought damn I should have worn a jacket!
Happy Palm Sunday to all!
Here are my movie reviews for you...
Invention of Lying, 1 thumb up. A funny idea and a great cast but it is somewhat lacking. The idea of always being truthful is funny, imagine right now if you told your boss or husband what you are thinking about them!
The Informant!. 1 1/2 thumbs up. A quirky movie about a man turned informant who thinks that people will understand his actions and overlook the lies. Matt Damon was very good. Dan I think you would like this one - sort of similar to Burn After Reading.
Hope you enjoy your week! I will be in NYC seeing Memphis on Broadway with 46 kids on Wednesday...who can top that?

Im embarassed to say we didn't make it to church on Palm Sunday. Emily and Lauren slept over Ed's fathers and we slept in.... It was glorious.
My review...
The Blind Side - **** and two thumbs up. Perfect foryoung and old. I may have said this before but my only complaint is that Tim Mcgraw should never leave the house without his cowboy hat.
Deb... are you going to the Candlelight vigil? Seems a little over the top.
Stay Dry!
Lynn
I haven't been going to church regularly for years now. I will; however go during Easter as I will be in PA Saturday and Sunday.
I saw Coyote Ugly over the weekend and thought it was ok. It is an old movie.
My husband will be at the vigil to represent (yo)! Sorry, I digress...Tyler has karate so I will be there. I think they are trying to get people to vote the first time, here's to hoping.
Nancy - How's the basement? We are even taking on water at this point.
The water started coming in this morning so I am sure it will be flooded when I get home from work. We had three companies come out and the estimates ranged from $4,000 to $10,000. CT basement which is the company that Lynn and several others recommended is so busy they can't come out to do an estimate until May 6th so I think we will be waiting until then to make a decision.
Anyone know the name of the movie with Gwenith Palthrow where her life goes down two separate paths whether she makes the train or not?
Sorry to hear about the water Nance. The Stevenson Dam was a tourist attraction this afternoon and some of the cottages in shelton already had water up to the windows.
The movie is Sliding Doors (1998). Gwenyth is not one of my favorites. Enjoy the movie!
Ahhhh... cortisone shot in the need is like a gift from god. If it would only last more than a few weeks.
