Blogging has been very slow lately and I have no idea what is going on with everyone. Today is my last day of work until January 3rd and I am so excited. Is everyone healthy and ready for the big day???? Miss you all very much. Please blog!

So far so good, but it's only been 3 hours. Going back to work next Monday. Not much else is new. I loved the card Deb. Hope you all had a good Thanksgiving and happy shopping! I'm thinking I need a night out soon... may have to wait until Nance's birthday tho.

I picked this simply because I was intrigued that she was even listed on the quote site. I also respected the fact that it included food (a Wotsit is a cheese doodle to us common folk). Who would want to eat in bed and then lay in dirty crumby sheets? I still don't really know if she is quote worthy.

Que sera- oh crap it's a seroma!

Ok, the last post didn't work. So, I'm having a kind of set back. Apparently I'm oozing yellow yuck from my bellybutton this morning and it's been terribly sore the last few days. I go back to cat scan tomorrow and see how deep the probable abscess (seroma) is. I go back to the doc again on Thursday. He drew a raod map on my belly of where the red is. It's looks like a treasure map. Can't catch a break. Resting all afternoon. I'll keep you all posted. Otherwise I'm fine. Just tired... Blog peeps, you cannot know how boring it is at home with nothing to do. TV sucks and I'm out of books. Have to go to the library soon once I feel up to it.

Thanks for all the good wishes. I got home this afternoon around 1230p. Everything is fine. Lots of antibiotics and now pain meds and I'll be fit as a fiddle in no time. It was good to see you Nance. Thanks for spending time. I'll keep you all posted. Just very tired as there is really no sleeping in the hospital whatsoever.

OK, how funny would that be! I personally would pick someone very conservative. Maybe I will try it today at work...stay tuned.

Hope everyone had a good weekend. Nance...you rock! Thanks for a good performance and some tasty frozen hot chocolate. I saw Letters to Juliet (movie) and would give it 1 1/2 stars mostly for scenery of Italy. Very predictable chick flick, one might even say cheesy.

1 Week Down!

Boy was it a hot one!!! Hope everyone had a great start to the school year and an enjoyable end to summer. Our yard is sooo dry and even a hurricane doesn't want to give us a little rain. The pool is covered without one fight...who says you can't work together???

Spent a beautiful weekend in VT at my old bosses house on the lake without the kids. It was heaven. Juli had a wonderful time hanging with the Micheners and learning to play poker. (Thanks Dan)

I need to go to dinner and to see the movie Inception. Ted is having surgery on July30th for his ACL and meniscus tear repair. This would be the last time all summer to have fun, because after July 30th , there will be no fun. We will still do lake day, but I'm not sure where healing he will be. He could be great or in misery. So, let me know if anyone can do anything in very short notice. I love you guys!!!!!

Today I was told that as of tomorrow I will be in my mid forties and could now consider there to be a divide with those who are in their early forties. Nice huh? Anyway, Sex and the City 2 looks to be playing every half and hour or so on Sunday evening. I am assuming Chinese or Mexican any preference?

We can meet here whenever it works for everyone else. Let me know.

5/9/10 And what did you do on Sunday...

Well, first I got presents!! Then we went to church, then out to eat, then for a hike and then we got a dog! All in all it was a very good day. The new addition is named Brownie BB (long story) and everyone loves her already.

Went to see Ironman, very good movie! And now off to do some school work!

An Education 1 1/2 thumbs...thought provoking and somewhat disturbing. A 16 year old girl seduced and educated by an older man, with her parents' permission.

The Men Who Stare At Goats 1 thumb...just bizarre, George Clooney kills a goat with his mind. I think George likes to drink...alot. Made me say why?

Here are my movie reviews for you...

Invention of Lying, 1 thumb up. A funny idea and a great cast but it is somewhat lacking. The idea of always being truthful is funny, imagine right now if you told your boss or husband what you are thinking about them!

The Informant!. 1 1/2 thumbs up. A quirky movie about a man turned informant who thinks that people will understand his actions and overlook the lies. Matt Damon was very good. Dan I think you would like this one - sort of similar to Burn After Reading.

Hope you enjoy your week! I will be in NYC seeing Memphis on Broadway with 46 kids on Wednesday...who can top that?

Where does the weekend go? The last thing I know it was Friday. How was Borders Nance? We had movie night at Monroe El! I will get to see you at some point. The exercise equipment has arrived and I now know for sure that I am completely out of shape. So now the work begins. Busy with school and all. Hired a new morning sitter, back at my house.
