Monday's Quote 11/23/09

"I celebrated Thanksgiving in an old-fashioned way. I invited everyone in my neighborhood to my house, we had an enormous feast, and then I killed them and took their land." Jon Stewart

In the spirit of Thanksgiving...and to answer your question Lynn. I have the honor of preparing a meal for all of the grandparents this year!! We will be home and relaxing (not me but the rest of them). I will then prepare for the black friday shoping experience...good times, always interesting people. Have a good short week of work everyone!

Gooble, gooble!

Norb and I are not cooking this year for the first time in several years. We are going over his sister's house.

We don't go out shopping black Friday.

The color of the car is stormy blue (a dark blue).

I am cooking for just us... my sister will come later for dessert.
Easy although it's the same to cook for 7 or 17.

I may internet shop on black friday but I have to see the ads first.

I have tomorrow off... Yeah.
Enjoy the quality time with your loving family and try to keep the murders to a minimum!

We are going to Grandma Cindy's. We will be having the most heart healthy Thanksgiving. Everything I bring will be ladened with butter and none of my mother's things will be. I think that evens out...

Caro went to NYC to check out colleges with her friend. She really liked Columbia but only went through in passing. They took an actual tour of Barnardt (all girl's part of Columbia). Didn't like it as much but since it's sister school to Columbia she said she'd apply there too to get in and then could just take Columbia classes. Only scary thing is the school is smack in the middle of Harlem and not the good section either. Although, I don't know if there is a good section of Harlem.
