"Far and away the best prize that life has to offer is the chance to work hard at work worth doing." Theodore Roosevelt
I thought this would be appropriate as I return to work on Wednesday. I hope you will be doing work worth doing this week. I have been working at getting us ready for the transition back to routine.
Beading is all set. I will make reservations for dinner at Vazzy's...yum! Dan start thinking about how you can possibly top bowling and beading for you birthday.
Have a SUPER week!!!

I'm working from home today but trying hard not to do too much work worth doing! Taking Juli to get braces this afternoon.
Had a party filled weekend but none were given by me so it was enjoyable. Saw two movies... Marley and Me and Confessions of a Shopaholic. Sobbed at the end of Marley - the other was light and cute.
Nancy... Does Norb ever lend out his backhoe??? Ed was wondering.
Have a great week all you working women. I fondly remember when we could all meet for breakfast at Marmalades on a Tuesday Morning. I wonder if that will ever happen again before we are all collecting social security!
Probably not unless we all have a day off together...ha,ha. Saw the Soloist, good but sad. Thats all!
Saw the Witch Mountain (Disney) movie and it was good too!
Lynn: I will check on the backhoe availability and let you know. Feel free to ask again in case I forget.
I worked 53 hours last week! Can you believe it?!?!? I can't. My kids hate me, well Phil does anyway. He's just sore I'm not around. Once school starts they will be so glad I'm home every night. I know I am.
And I like work (still) very much.
I don't know when we will ever get breakfast together again, unless
we're 67 and our social security checks won't be enough to feed any one of us breakfast.
My birthday dream would be something along the lines of the Boston Symphony Orchestra and Seiji Ozawa but I wouldn't do that to you; I would do that to Mark tho. I'm not sure. I haven't been to the movies in a long time, so it might be something British. Maybe we need to go overnight somewhere and watch british movies. My room treat!!
I asked Norb about the backhoe and we don't see any problem with Ed borrowing it. Would he be able to pick it up as we don't have a good vehicle to deliver it with? We have a trailer for it. I still have to find out the availability as I know Norb forgot to call his son about it and I forgot to remind him. I will try and remember tonight.
Ed would definately pick up the backhoe and could tow the trailer with his truck... as long as Norb doesn't mind. Just let us know a good weekend that Norb or his son doesn't need it.
Lynn: I just found out that our trailer is not good enough for the trip. Would Ed be willing to haul it on his car trailer? He can have it anytime. This weekend is shot. We have a gig Friday night, a wedding Saturday and a open mic/gig fundraiser @ the YMCA on Sunday.
Ed's going to call Norb to find out how much it weighs... tie downs... etc. His car trailer can pul 5,500 lbs.
Thanks so much!
How are the working women?
I'm good. How are ya doin' Deb?
My numbers are fantastic. When I started, my over 3 days-outstanding
accounts were 1500 - 2000. I've been working like mad and when I came in this morning I had them down to 154. So, I have that going for me. Baseball starts tonight. How lucky am I? Signing off to watch the news and see if the hurricane is coming this weekend.
