Interesting how the beginning reads!
Hey Dan, do you have Ty's hat?
Yes, I found it in our bag before we left. I gave it to Lynn because you would see her much sooner than I would see you. At least it would be in the same town.
I'll blog about work tomorrow. can't wait.
Thanks!
Yes, I have Ty's hat and will drop it off this week.
Thanks for a great time everyone. We were all so tired yesterday. How sore were the Micheners?
Dan... can't wait to hear about your first day. Good Luck
Norb's son came over yesterday and he and Norb spoke with Phil @ Chatterton and he suggested putting a quart of oil directly into the gas. Which we did and we ran it yesterday and it seems ok. Yeah! We had a lot of fun too!
We are confirmed for beading on 9/12 form 6-8.
I'm good for beading.
Work is good but very busy. They were extremely behind. Yesterday the woman training me sat and showed me a few things and then I sat the rest of the day trying to get just one day worth of coding put in. I was there for 9 hours with a few short break and still couldn't get it all done. It is caught up a bit more and someone else took a few days so we are looking good. I'm just excited to have it be my own thing-and so are they. No more back and forth betweeen the 2 departments, I have lab systems and can fix everything on site where they had to go through numerous people to get stuff done.
I'm actually going to physically be working in the lab again (someone is getting booted out of an office and myself and another person is going there) which will be good. I'll still see all my old friends, just in a different capacity. And I can still do lab things too to keep them caught up.
So, all in all very good. You have to be a detective to work there-some things just make no sense and you have to scratch your head and think what were they thinking? but I'm sure its that way for every job.
Great day on Saturday. Mark's leg swelled even more on Sunday & Monday, so I made him go to the doctor Monday afternoon. They doc gave him a better antihistamine (benadryl didn't do a thing) and it was looking much better this morning. At least he could move his toes. Crazy. The doc says no epi pen tho (but I wish he still had it)
see you all soon-
Poor Mark. I didn't realize that his foot was still swelling. Did he know he was allergic?
Glad work is good. Can't wait for beading...
Deb - I have Ty's hat and will drop off on my way home tonight.
I am so sorry about Mark too! I called my brother to take care of the bees but he has been so busy he hasn't had a chance.
If beading is 6-8 where are we meeting and when? Are we eating afterwards or before? I can't remember...sorry...
We can meet here or at Lynn's. I guess meet around 5:30. Dan, can you bring wine and I will bring some cheese/crackers. We can eat dinner after. Sound good?
