Monday's Quote 4/20/09

"It is one of the blessings of old friends that you can afford to be stupid with them." Ralph Waldo Emerson

Hello all! We survived the floors being redone. It was stressful for me. I don't like living in three rooms with clean underwear on the couch. At least it is over and my house is very clean. I think it was more work putting it back together. That was my week off. How is everyone else? How was Atlanta for Caroline? How are the Kusinski's? And the Setzlers?

Have a super week, a bit rainy to start but the real Spring can't be far behind!

Norb's sprained ankle hasn't slowed him down one bit. With the air cast on he walks just fine. He has a follow up appt this Friday. I am well.

All is well here. My dad is recovering...surgery was much worse than expected and he spent 3 days in the hospital but he is doing much better now.

Glad everyone is back in school. Trying to figure in no school and my dad in the hospital was not easy but we made it.

How do the floors look Deb? Any word on your job next year?

Nancy - glad Norb is getting around OK. He probably wouldn't stop even if it did hurt...he is just like Ed.

So Emily's spelling word sentence tonight was "My mom works for cash." I didn't make her change it because I'm sure her teacher (who is 9 months pregnant) needs a good laugh by now.

And Juli told me tonight that she would like to go to sleep away camp at Westover this summer because her friend Abby is going. I just checked the website... that would be a definite no unless I literally started working for cash.

Goodnight Peeps... (I have eaten so many of you glorious squishy creatures this Easter season)

Sorry- baseball started...enough said

Carolyn and the team had a wonderful time. The teacher said it couldn't have gone better. She is now (this week anyway) ready to be an engineer and has high hopes to get into Kettering university or Clarkson university. Clarkson is in Potsdam (isn't that where lizard either came from or started school?) ugh-why do I know that?!?

Baseball started-I'm really very depressed. No more time off. I have very bad pms this week and I don't know why. I'm not due! Lots of wine tonight tho-so I have THAT to look forward too. all in all, kind of busy but boring
