Monday's Quote 2/9/09

"Don't stay in bed, unless you can make money in bed."
-George Burns

Hello ladies! Hope everyone had a restful weekend. Nancy, I hope you are on the mend. Sorry I didn't reply earlier abou the flu shots but in our house they are mandatory. Tyler is in a chronic illness class due to his asthma.

Hi Dan and Lynn. Getting ready for a long weekend with the kids? What is your schedule with vacation Dan. Alan is working at the nature center for a few days. Better than a week home with him.

Have a great week and Happy Valentine's Day!

Yes, I am looking forward to some needed time off. I took Friday through the following week. Emily gets her palate expander and habit breaker on Friday and then we leave for Laura's and then Great Escape lodge for a few days. Back on Tuesday and then I have to get ready for a two birthday parties for Juli.... so it won't be relaxing but still better than here.

Dan... we never heard the final story on Mark... Is he OK for now?

He's ok for now, but really it seems to be a week to week thing. Last Wed. his boss asked him if he could lose a head and he had to say yes, so someone in his group is being laid off but he doesn't know who. It's every man for himself!

Hey Dan, at some point it has to be every man for himself. It just sucks that it just keeps lingering.

Have fun on your travels Lynn.

We will be home next week. Hopefully finishing up some projects around the house and maybe starting some new ones.

So Ed came home last night sick as a dog. Classic Flu like symptoms... chills, headache, body ache. He went to bed as soon as he got home and is still there. So we will see if the flu shot really works as he is the only one of us that didn't get the shot. I really hope it works since being at a waterpark with the flu would really suck!

I'll keep you posted.

Oh Lynn, I'm so sorry. I hope he's better soon.

The kids only have next Mon & Tues off and Caro has robotics both days all day, so no real vacation going on.

Lynn: If you can you should sleep separately from Ed so you don't get it. We did just that and Norb didn't get the flu from me. Also, one of the people @ work who had the flu shot got the flu so stay away from Ed and wash your hands frequently. I had a fever for 3 days so I know what he is going through.
