Good luck on the interview Deb! It's good there are no windows. He's busy, busy, busy with his chain saw today. Cutting trees with the boys. I cleaned out the attic this past weekend and made many trips to the dump. Now he wants to turn it into an office of some sort.

I don't think i told you he made it through the big layoff. Only one guy from his building was let go and apparently everyone, including him, knew it was going to happen. So, the next day the were talking to this guy (I don't know his name) and the guy said that there was another layoff coming before thanksgiving and another before the end of the year, but none of it in Mark's department. next year (Asset Management, where mark is) is going to get hit hard. In fact I think they're doing away with it and re-organizing. Who know what will happen? I can't worry about it. Too much Christmas shopping still to do to worry about something like being laid off.

Lab director seem ok. She doesn't talk and sticks to her office. Weird. She comes out for lunch and just listens. I guess I would too with all the loony people I work with.

Well, enough mumbling and grumbling. Have a good week!

I've learned from working with my consultants from Colarado that HIYA is the new cool way to say hello so

Hiya peeps,

I'm sick as a dog.. but should I have expected anything less. Me and stress don't mix. I've dropped my class but after the time I could have gotten money back so it's looks like I won't be taking any more classes anytime soon. Work is nuts and I am pretty much working day and night.

Glad Mark made the first cuts...

Deb... Did you Interview yet? Do you want me to egg POH's house???

dan said...

oooh, can I egg POH's house too????
Phil & Ted would do it too...

Should we invite more people??? Just kidding, but that's why you are my friends!! Glad to hear Mark is still there (at least for a little longer).

No job news yet. They only posted last Wednesday online. No newspaper ad so that is good for me. I hope they call soon. The waiting is the hardest part. I will keep you posted.

Sorry about being sick Lynn. If you need anything, just blog.

Lynn: If it is any consolation I was too late when cancelling my class but it was worth the relief. Hang in there with the job and being sick.
Norb and I worked on getting the leaves picked up this weekend and I am still a little sore from it. We agreed to cut the tree down in the spring. I think he and his son Paul are going to do it themselves. I am a little worried as it is big and near the house.

Good Morning...

Just a taste of of the past 24 hours.

Yesterday morning my washing machine broke.... at 3:15 the school called me to tell me Emily had a stomach ache... by 5:00 she was vomitting nonstop...by 6:00 Lauren joined her. At 9:00 my frustrated husband started dismantling the washing machine and pieces were lying all over my kitchen and the laundry mounted.
At midnight he fixed the washing machine by reading suggestions on the internet. 12:05 my mother started...3:00 am Lauren finally went to sleep. 6:00 Juli said her stomach hurts.

7:00 I left for work and turned off the cell phone.

Someone blog something uplifting, funny or inspirational pleasssse.

I picked up Waffles ashes yesterday. I am getting used to him not being there but I am giving more attention to Spud my shih tzu who is left so maybe that is why.

I might have yet another yeast infection but I will know for sure on Monday.

Have been speaking with my ex (Rich) about getting Gary to move out. Rich is looking for a condo for my brother to buy. We shall see if anything comes of it as I have heard this story before.

I Have an interview Monday at 12:30!!!! Wish me luck! There is some competition, so I need to really sell myself. Keep your fingers crossed.

Lynn said...

Nancy...
Are you going to bury the ashes? That's what we did and we got a nice stone marking the spot.

I'm sure spud appreciates the attention. He's probably lonely.

What's with the yeast infections? Try eating yogurt.

Deb... Good Luck. Don't worry about the competition. You can handle Derby Teens better than anyone I know!
