We missed you so much!!!!!

The movie was funny-Brad Pitt was hysterical. You missed the "dildo chair" -which we never really saw coming. Of course people get hacked up being a Coen brother film. Wasn't expecting a lot of that either, but not as bad as Fargo nor No Country...

Didn't set a date for October yet. I work tonight and hopefully the revised Oct. schedule will be out. We'll blog more dates.

At least you have a good candy bag to keep you company while you lay onthe couch this week. Hope you feel better soon. Sorry about all the crap going on too. If I can do
anything for you...

I missed you too. Pneumonia can knock you for a loop. Are you feeling better? If you start to have trouble breathing go back to the doctor or call 911.

ok, I have the new (and NOT improved) October schedule.
I'm working the weekend of the 3rd & 4th, field hockey Saturday night (10/11), Mark's birthday w/e of the10/18 but I can on the 18th, not the 19th, working on 10/24 weekend and working sat. 11/1 during the day, only of that weekend. And then I'm working just about every Friday night in between there.

Hope you are feeling better Deb.

Dan: Are you saying you are available 10/18 and 11/1?

I have a gig @ Borders on 10/18 in Southbury 2pm-4pmish and then Norb and I were planning to go to Sake (a restaurant we have a $50 gift certificate for) in Southbury. I was hoping you guys could come and bring the kids.

Yes, I guess I am saying that but you can also include Nov 2nd Sunday too) included.

Nancy, I am going to try to make the 10/18 gig at Borders with the kids also...

What about 11/1 at night or does that cut it too close for you Dan.

How are you feeling Deb?

dan said...

11/1 is good. I won't be home until after 5pm so I couldn't be at your house until after 6p, if that's ok.

Nance, I can't make 10/18 Big Pumpkin Fair and I am cochairing the silent auction and raffle. November 1st works for me.

I am feeling better, its just the damn cough. I am going to my doctor tomorrow. All blood work was fine from the weekend. I am on the mend, just tired. I am not good at the lazy thing. Alan's work thing is hopefully over. He will be looking for a new system for next year.

Glad you are feeling better. Sorry about the Al work thing.

Apprently Jeff Immelt is coming to Mark's GE building on riday for lunch. Let's hope it isn't a "layoff luncheon". Mark said he wasn't invited to lunch which could be good or bad, but I told himn to crash it anyway. If they're going out, might as well do it in a blaze of glory...

Deb: What is going on with Alan's work thing? I must have missed this story.

11/1 works for me.

Lynn: Did Ed look into the seat for me?

Lynn said...

Deb... so glad all is now well in the vaglivelo/hansen household.

Dan... hopefully it's just a "thanks for all your hard work" luncheon. I doubt they would bring in the CEO to lay people off. CEO's run far away from that stuff. Now, if it was a luncheon with HR, I would be worried.

Nancy, Ed is in NY racing today but I will ask him about the seat when I see him later.

My advice to all of you is not to check your 401(k) balances without the benefit of a good bottle of chardonnay or at least 3 martini's.

Happy Friday to my favorite Joe (or shall I say Jane)Six Packs... go Sarah!

Ack- I never got to see the debates last night. I heard she did well. I was expecting her to get run over by Biden, but I hear she held her own.

Cocktails tonight- although I am NOT checking any stock or 401K business for a long time. I really don't want to know.

The hospital hired a new lab director. I guess this really sums up how much they love the lab employees: They (the hosp VP's) hired Sue Simons from Charlotte Hungerford Hosp, sent a letter to all nursing floors & doctors during the day (but not us) and the lady who is in charge of Radiology who has sort of been a liason to us thru the VP's, called at 745pm to tell us they had hired a new director. I can only shake my head.

Mark says security is so tight that they can't even go downstairs where Immelt is. It's only for the "higher management" but one of his friends did get invited who is an equal to him. I guess he representing all the middle managers. It should be interesting.

Did I say we were having cocktails??? Maybe more than one or ten?
