Dan, Burn After Reading opens 9/12.
Love the quote...the best one yet!
The only date I can do is 9/7 but the next few weekends in Sept are OK. I wouldn't mind waiting to see Burn after Reading...that looked good.
Dan - finished New Moon... onto Eclipse. Loved it! Can I go to TwilightMoms without having the other two books spoiled?
The next few weekends were bad for Dan. 9/7 a Sunday works for me. We can maybe catch that movie for an early Dan night.
Ack- maybe we'll be able to catch that movie in OCtober. It looks really funny.
I'm good for Sept 7th. I'm working the 13th and 14th and we have a wedding on the 20th. The 21st is free though if you wanted to wait. Also free the 27 and 28th.
Liked the chainsaw pictures and loved the quote.
Lynn, you should probably not go onto Twilightmoms.com as it is full of spoilers now. You can go into the forum and pick the different books for the discussion groups but I haven't been on any and the titles of some of the fourms give things away. i'd wait until you finished all of them. Isn't jane of the Volturi the biggest @#$@%? She gets her due, don't worry. It's really funny in the last book.
Should we shoot for the 7th? I could really use a girls night.
ok by me.
OOPS - I meant sat 9/6... is that OK with everyone. I have Kaitlyn's birthday party on Sunday and I really need to be there. (It's been almost a year already since Jeannine died - can you believe it. Jay is dating someone already - a divorced mom with two small kids. Katelyn and Kyle know but he told them not to tell anyone. Of course they slipped to my aunt. It's a horrible mess but what about that situation hasn't been. It's still just so sad and I guess always will be...)
6th is ok too.
Your poor Aunt and family. I'm finding it hard he couldn't wait a year, at least. it doesn't make it any better tho. Even that seems such an impossible short time. Has it been going on a long time? If he told the kids not to say, he must have been talking to her for a while. Jeez...
9/6 works for me!
It's a date-ok with you Deb??
It's a date!!! Can it really be that easy??? Lynn you pick the place.
How about Bertucci's in Shelton... pizza is good and dinners are good too!
What time? Are we meeting @ someone's house or the restaurant?
All sounds good. I will drive since Lynn is guest of honor. What is easier for you guys (Dan and Nance)?
Here's a funny story about my life. I got a job at the boy's school doing some enrichment etc (a paraprofessional level). They were excited to have me because of my background and the small pay. Well, the Superintendent said I couldn't have the job because the Chairperson of the Board of Ed called it a breech of ethics (Alan is a board member). This turns out to be entirely false. I have now spoken to both of those people. The Town Attorney is involved as well as the Selectman. It appears that there are many couples in M***** who have similar (or worse) situations.
This is what happens when you live in a small town. It has actually turned into a rather silly story.
Deb,
So are you now employed at Monroe EL???
Why don't we meet at my house at 6:00. Any movie recommendations?

I'm still in limbo. 6 is good. I will look into movies and blog.
I'm working from home today... dad is having yet another hernia surgery.
How was the first day of school for everyone...my kids were all very happy. I think Emily and Lauren are going to surpass Carolyn and Phil for the gold medal in sibiling fighting so it's good they now don't have to spend the entire day together. Maybe absence will make the heart grow fonder.
I quickly checked the movies and nothing looked too promising unless something new is coming out between now and then. We may have to have an alternate plan.
Deb- Don't let the man keep you down! Like Alan ran for BOE just so you could get a job. Do they realise that you are really doing them a favor with all your experience and degrees?
I will meet you at Lynn's house before 6p. (pre-dinner cocktails? I'll bring the wine). I'm not sure of the movies either. An encore of Mama Mia??? (seriously kidding!)
First week of school good. Phil & Carolyn like it, Ted says its boring.
Deb, there is a woman on the board of ed who drives around in her father in law's car which has New York license plates and there isn't a week that goes by that there isn't a comment from the "Woodbury Three" as they are known that she still hasn't converted her plates. (it isn't even her car!) You won't ever win in public service.
Looking forward to Tuesday's quote.
