Thanks Deb for the website for online courses. They don't have Latin but they do have Mandarin Chinese which is a full year and she says she wants to do it. I guess we will see how it goes.
Nancy, I remember left when I'm facing motor vehcile, go straight to the end and then I forget the rest to the yacht club.

I'm glad we were able to pull everything together so quickly without months of planning and rearranging schedules. That was amazing. It so nice to see the kids together and all having fun and enjoying each other. I'll look forward to the next time we could share a bucket of daquires!

Frugal alert:
Staples has packages of pencils, little bottles of Purell and folders with pockets for 1 cent each. Bring a friend... you can get two bottles of purell and two packages of pencils and 10 folders each. This was my lunchtime shopping and the highlight of my day so far.
Thanks for the shopping alert. I had a very good time the other night. I especially loved the bucket. Nothing better than a slushie with a kick!

The boat is still not fixed. I don't have an ETA as they don't know what is wrong with it. Do you want to just come up with your boat? We are close enough to the lake that some of us could hang at the house while others are on the boat. We can make the call when we get closer.

I think it's probably best if we reschedule when both boats are running.Ours is so small that there will be too much downtime for everyone else. Also, maybe we could catch up with the Michener's if we wait until August. Dan... what are your free weekends in Aug?
Also... Deb called to tell me that she can't do the 27th for her birthday celebration. Would everyone be able to do the 20th instead since we have that day already blocked off? Dan - couldn't remember if you were working or not.

What day in August works for boating...the 24th?
The marina received the parts and are supposed to fix the boat today or tomorrow so I will keep you posted.
All dates of 7/20 (boat or girly night out), 7/27 (original girly night out) and 8/24 work for me.

After much calendar crunching and planning, I think I have figured out what will make everyone HAPPY!!
Girls Night (and a belated bday) will be August 1st, a Friday night!!
Boat day will be moved from this Sunday (sorry Nance) to August 9th so everyone can be there, including the watercraft.
Please confirm that this works for you and yours. I will miss you all until the 1st!!
So, let me get this straight boat outing is 8/9 instead of 8/24. Do we still want to do this Sunday for whoever can make it once I know the boat is fixed? I should know more tomorrow about the boat. And we are changing girls night out from 7/27 to 8/1, right?
Thats right Nance, sorry for all the changes. We are not going to be able to make it on Sunday. That will give you a little more time for the boat repair. I hope all the dates work.

8/1 is ok. I talked to Deb this morning (Wed) and told her I could only make it to dinner, not the movie if we go to one. I had promised Carolyn I'd take her to the Twilight Release Party at Border's at 10pm. The 4th book comes out at midnight and she's already signed up and pre-ordered. We can make it for 8/9 boating and we'll see you all then.
Only 1 more week of baseball and we're done!!!!

The boat saga continues: They changed out the coils and the boat is still not working. They have never seen anything like it. They are going to try one more thing.

Oh Nancy... what a pain. I hope you can get it fixed soon. It must be hard to be that close to the water and have no boat!
The marina thinks they have fixed the boat but they are supposedly taking it for another test ride today to make sure. We will test it tomorrow and will let you know.
The boat is still not fixed. The marina tested it one more time and then told us the part they installed was defective. They are ordering a new part. Good grief! I should know more later on this week.
We used the boat twice and I think it is fixed. Norb is going to find out how much we owe today!
We are still on for Friday, right? Are we doing dinner and a movie or just dinner? Are we meeting @ Lynn's? What time?
Has Julie made any progress waterskiing? Do you want to set up another waterskiing school date?
How about Carolyn? I think she was pretty clear that she wanted to go again. On nice days it gets busy on Candlewood so if the girls come here it would have to be early on a Saturday or Sunday at least by 9am.
