Well, not that I believe any of us are Irish, but Happy St. P's Day anyway.
Not much else new. Carolyn was Confirmed yesterday at church. It was not very exciting. She's glad that's over and done with. My mother was highly put out when she found out I didn't buy her a cross for a gift. (In fact I got her the "Twilight" tshirt she really wanted. Ask Juli, Lynn- I got her the Alice Cullen one that says "Wanna Bet?") and she was much more excited. My mother sent her a tshirt that said "Angel in disguise" with a devil cat on it. Cindy said she'd have sent her a cross if she knew all I was going to do was to buy her a t-shirt. There's absolutely no winning.
So Nance, good luck on Friday. Hopefully it will truly be a Good Friday for you.
How's on line school Deb? How on earth do you grade something like that?
Lynn Ellen, my daughter would like to go shopping with Juli again sometime soon. I'm not sure if you are going anywhere for April break. She's going to DC on her 8th grade trip and needs a bunch of stuff. I thought maybe we'd do Westbrook Outlets. Let me know when you have time. DC trip in sometime in May.
We've begun planning the 8th grade dance. The theme is Mardi Gras. Easy and the parent in charge made a rule of no "formal gowns", only nice dresses so it's not as if I have to fork out for an 8th grade "prom gown". So, we've got that going for us.
We'll I've babbled long enough about our (actually rather nice) boring life. Phil's well. Baseball doesn't start for another 3 weeks. Not much else. Talk to you all soon.

I still remember getting religious gifts for communion and confirmation and I don't remember being happy about it so I think you did fine giving her something she wanted.
Norb is not looking forward to the procedure on 3/21 and I am telling him that this will hopefully make him feel better as he still seems to be winded after exerting himself.
Happy Green Day to all!
Nance, I don't think anyone looks forward to a heart procedure but he should feel better after. He will feel thirty again...watch out!
Tell him good luck and let us know how it goes.
Dan, whatever gift they want is the right gift. No matter what we do it still gets commented on so in one ear and out the other.
Lynn, thanks for the cookies and for the Target return.
Online teaching is going well...I guess. There are assisgnments and rubrics so that part is easy. It just is really boring material so I don't like to read it and neither do the kids.
Thats it here. Just doing work in the house, nothing major. Alan is looking forward to some tree cutting.
Deb - They wouldn't credit back your card without it present so I have a target gift card to drop off to you. So, I will be showing up on your doorstep again after work.
We had our St. Paddy's day feast yesterday and ate lots of corned beef and green rye bread. I told the kids this is the only time it was OK to eat green bread. YUM!
Dan - my kids all have crosses and they sit in my jewlery box...I don't think they have ever worn them. I'm sure she loved the T Shirt instead.
I'm working on April vacation but I'm sure we can find some time to shop. Juli would love to shop with Carolyn. I was at the outlets a few weeks ago but there really isn't anything for their age except Old Navy. (Unless I missed something) Spent Saturday at the mall this weekend getting easter outfits. Juli's idea of an easter outfit is a wrinkled jacket from Aeropostale and a tank top...Oh well. I still can put E&L into a dress - for now at least.
Nancy - I'll be thinking of you guys on friday... good luck!
Puking sucks...yes Jordan got the belly bug and threw up from midnight until 5 a.m. He had one last round which happened while he was addressing his other end. He is now home watching movies and looks like hell. I have aired out and disinfected the bathrooms in hopes of stopping this bug in its tracks. Wish me luck. Hope everyone else is having a better Tuesday.
Sorry about the puking thing Deb. Hope he's better today.
I shouldn't have read about the puking before lunch but oh well.
Nancy - Good luck tomorrow. Let us know how he does when you get a minute.
Please, Nance, let us know as soon as possible. We'll be thinking of you.
