HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Wishing everyone a happy 2008! It was good to see everyone and enjoy a meal together. Next time Nance and Norb will have to eat with us.

Dan - keep us posted on Phil (we will send him all of our good thoughts).

Lynn - what time did Cuppy's end? Let me know about Sara Mora (I'm sure Dan wants to know too)

Nance - Happy birthday, you are now officially in your forties. Welcome to the club!

Thanks so much for coming to the Twisted Vine! Our schedule is as follows: Borders Danbury Friday 1/11, El Mariachi Saturday 1/26, and Twisted Vine first Saturday of the month (2/2, 3/1, 4/5). Thanks for the tip! If we can meet @ 5pm on 2/2 we can eat dinner with you!

Norb says that our 2004 Jeep Liberty is not big enough anymore to lug our equipment. We are thinking of looking into a van/mini van. Anyone have any suggestions? We will be selling the Jeep. It has 40,000 miles on it. Do you know anyone who wants to buy it?

Happy Birthday, Happy New Year and everything in between.

How much do you want for your Jeep Nance? Although, I think Mark would think it's a "chick" car. He definately needs a 4 wheel/AWD car. The maxima has spent the better part of the winter at the bottom of the driveway. How is it in the snow? Would it get up our driveway in 6 inches or more of snow?

We should go out again with everyone. It was fun. Even my husbands was excited to be out and see everyone. (thanks for keeping him occupied Ginger).

We go back to the Doc on Jan 16th. I'll let you know what's up then. Thanks for the good thoughts.

I have a minivan that I will be getting rid of. 2004 Ford Freestar, 1 owner, 34,200 miles. I don't need a seven seater for around town.

Lynn -- are you out there???

I'm here...

Gee Nance, there is a nice red pickup truck in my driveway. It just needs a little work but I would be willing to swap it for a Jeep Liberty. We fondly call it Mater - All you Cars fans would understand.

But Seriously, how much are you asking for the liberty? How is it on gas? Ed is putting about $90 a week of gas in his truck and is thinking about getting something small that would be better on gas.

Cuppy's was actually fun. We listened to the band until about 12:30 and then I guilted Ed into leaving. I had told my mom we would be early and when I called to say we were going to be late she did answer. Turns out they were all sound asleep in my mother's bed so it really did matter when we got home.

The letter only said that Sara had an autoimmune disease... no name given.

All is well here. I leave for Florida on Sunday and the temp is going to be in 70 and 80's. Too bad I have to work. My dad is having hernia surgery while I am away so I am a little nervous about that. Hopefully no blood clots pop up - but they have taken enough precautions.

Hope everyone has a happy new year... we did nothing on new years day. It was blissful!

You can put it into 4 wheel drive part time or 4 wheel low. I have only used 4 wheel drive part time and it is fine. I spend about $50 for 1/2 tank of gas. I don't know how much I am selling it for yet as the this idea just came up. I would cut one of guys a deal if you were interested.

Deb: Do you like the Ford minivan? Do you recommend it?

Nance - we've done all our service and taken it on vacation every year. It's just not practical for me on a daily basis. The Ford is ok it just didn't hold its value as a new car but now its fine.

I was wrong on how much I spend for gas. I spent $30 for 2/3 of a tank last week. The jeep is a V6.
