Hi yourself - come here often?

Only when I'm strenuously avoiding studying ICD-9-CM codes, CPT codes and HCPCS. We had a pop test yesterday. I'm just not ready to return to school. There's been too many bottles of wine between 1988-2007.

Do you have enough room for everyone on the leaf tour on the boat?

Lynn said...

Yep - It's adults only so if everyone goes it will be 8. It will be tight but we are a close group...

So, I'm not sure which was more disconcerning this morning. The bomb sniffing dogs at the train station or the lone bag pipe player playing amazing grace under the highway as I was walking from the train station. Deb - I just have to smile when I remember those three little babies in car seats that day six years ago - sitting in your basement watching the world go crazy. Where has the time gone?

Dan - it's not the wine it's the kids!

No news on Jeannine, good, bad or otherwise. I tend to think that is a bad sign.

Dan:

ICD-9-CM 625.4 can lead to
cpt 54120

:)

You are very funny.

For Deb & Nance:
625.4 is PMS
54120 is penis amputation.

Sorry I have been remiss in my blogging. Life is busy here. The penis amputation is a little scary...but thanks Dan. Hope all is well with everyone.

What should I bring on 10/21? Are we meeting @ 1pm and where?

Lynn said...

Nancy, 1:00 p.m. on 10/21 sounds good. Last year we had snacks - wine and cheese and something sweet (of course) How about some cheese and crackers?

1pm @ your house or somewhere else?

Janice responded to my gig email saying she couldn't come because she was in China.

what is new, old or otherwise?

I have no news at all.

My washing machine bit the dust and slightly flooded our basement. I wanted to get an energy saver (one that uses 14 gallons of water as opposed to 40). Norb said that even though the dryer was still working it is the same age as the washer and he wanted a matching set. We found a pair for $900 @ Lowes. We told them we needed delivery after 4pm. Norb got home @ 4pm on Monday and waited until 5pm and then called to find out they had been to the house and left @ 3:30pm. We had to call Lowes to reschedule. They told us Wednesday. We received a confirmation call from the delivery company Tuesday night who said they would deliver between 9am-1pm and we told them to cancel. Norb then physically went to Lowes and explained the situation and pointed out that the receipt said evening deliveries. The manager called the delivery company and actually had to argue with them that they needed to honor evening deliveries. It is supposed to come today after 4pm...we shall see...

Nancy,

I'm totally not surprised. I have a few nightmare Lowes stories also. My sympathies. Since we are on the topic of appliances, want to hear about my year old LG refridgerator that stopped working. The repair man got it running but said it's going to happen again. It had about 3 inches of ice built up behind the back wall. He deemed it unrepairable and we are trying to get a new one from LG.

Anyone have good plans for the weekend? I'm studying for a mid term which I will take on Sunday and my kids are sleeping at my inlaws (yeah)

We have baseball and I'm working (what else is new?!)

I did go and by a vacuum cleaner that I did like (an orech) and spent a lot of money. I'd bought and returned 3 others that I hated when I got home from bagless to crazy-buttoned electrolux. I have 30 days to return this if my satisfaction is not guaranteed which the young lady sort of made an issue of since I was so "picky" with my vacuums. I sort of wished there would be a customer satisfaction survey along with it. She would have failed. What ever happened to customer service?!

This is what I am doing this weekend: errands, laundry, books for the day care business of my daughter-in-law's, watching 101 Dalmations with my granddaughter, practicing with Maggie and maybe some other stuff.

Wow...I spent my weekend in the Garden State. Jordan had a sleepover in Sparta NJ and Tyler and I went to Cindie's. We are home and all very tired. My weekdays are very busy with work and volunteering at school.

Dan:

What are those codes or what am I supposed to say the medical insurance company (Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Florida) of my father-in-law?

Nancy

I'm not sure what you are looking for Nance. They are billing codes between the doctor, hospital and medicare (or any other third party carrrier). Anything pertaining to your f-i-l (in the hospital) has a code attached to it depending on what happened and for how long. This is how the physicians and hospitals get paid.
