June

I was afraid anyone was afraid to blog because we didn't have a June blog (only kidding)...

Not much is new here, thankfully. Lynn, I called your dad to see if he wanted to see Pirates on Tuesday. I think he must be at a funeral or at the senior center. When I called him last week I was "giggling" that he must be at a funeral and he wanted to know what was so funny about being at a funeral. Still the same old Ron.

I cannot wait for school to be done. it seems the teachers are applying last minute projexts like mad so they have something to do. The last 4 days of school are half days, what a pain.

How's chapter 3 Deb?

How's Norb Nance?

How was racing over memoiral weekend Lynn?

Blog people, I need news

Chapter 3 is "progressing". I am trying to finish up with my students. End of the year sucks, lots of paperwork and teachers are all demanding. It will be over soon enough. We will officially be members of the United Church of Christ on Sunday.

I think I am finally mastering pool ownership. We got a solar panel and swam this weekend. The chemicals are good and maybe this year I can enjoy it!

Had a chocolate and carmel bar today that was pretty good (PMS, you know). As you can see, I am now just filling space. If something good happens, I will blog.

Oh, I saw the movie Music and Lyrics...Drew Barrymore and Hugh Grant kissing just didn't do it for me.

Do you believe Norb and I have been married a year? We celebrated in little ways. We went to see Spiderman 3. We rode our motorcycles. I test drove a 2004 883 Sportster (Lynn ask Ed what I should offer?). I made his favorite cake (yellow cake with chocolate frosting). He bought me a digital camera. He asked for lights for the walkway and I printed a picture from the internet as I could not find them.

Big news - my boss, Danielle, has just announced her retired within the next two weeks. We are all stunned and something else must be up.

Nancy - Sounds like you had a nice first anniversary. Oh - young love... how special.

No racing happened on Memorial day - car wasn't ready. No much happened this weekend also. My husband was nursing a two day hangover from Kurt's stag on Friday night. It wasn't pretty.

Took the boat out for the first time - my kids are fishes and swam in the cold water. Emily can dive off the boat head first and do a flip into the water.

I watched Barnyard with the kids - it was awful also.

Chalk hill orientation tonight - 5th grade and lockers and changing classrooms

Sad day last night. George the hamster died. It really was a blessing. I thought for sure he wasn't going to last the weekend over Memorial Weekend. Ted's pretty broken up over him even though we've been trying to prepare him. Only talking about the "fun" times like when the cats tried to eat him. The poor thing had a stroke at the end (one eye wouldn't close). He was a wreck. Funeral this afternoon after school for anyone who'd like to attend :)

School band concert tonight. Last time Ted will play the saxophone. He doesn't like it anymore. A friend from the lab is retiring on Sunday so I'm working a bunch again until the new guy gets up to speed. Did I tell you last 4 days of school were 1/2 days. What a pain. Lynn, you're dad and I only have a short time to get together to see the movie.

Have you found out what's going on at work yet? It's better than a soap opera lately.
