Found out last night that our basement does flood- sump pump and all. Ed is away so it was all me. My dad tried to help (key word - tried) and attempted to suck up the water with the shop vac that Ed had used to suck up sheet rock dust. Once I got all the cement out of the shop vac it did work pretty well. Anyway - it was not fun and I'm tired.
Looking forward to dinner Thursday....

Well, when you ask your husband to fix a Golblin hole under the deck (last year) you should follow up. We got water in under the downstairs bathroom, in the crawl space, got some carpet and went into the laundry room. It is almost dry with very little lasting damage. Pool cover is drained and now the car battery is dead. ALan keeps writing and I have the cherubs. Can't wait to see you all on Thursday.
But I did kick butt duck pin bowling today!
